DESIGN
The Laser cutting process takes direct input
in the form of electronic data. The tool path instruction is generated
directly from CAD drawings to produce “flat form parts”
of great complexity. Drawings can be produced in-house by our
technical team from your samples or prototypes using measuring
or scanning techniques, or transferred from hard line drawings.
We can also import your CAD drawings in dxf or dwg format thus
eliminating the possibility of transposition errors.
DEVELOPMENT
The versatility of laser profiling enables
your product design engineer to be far more creative than when
faced with the constraints imposed by conventional “straight
edge” cutting. Typically, in sheet metal fabrication, the
strategic location of slots and tabs together with location marks
can virtually eliminate the need for expensive assembly jigs and
fixtures.
